Privacy policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Clearly Kitty ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit our website, buy from us, or contact us by email or social media.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and anything you write to us (for example, a support email or a photo of a damaged item).
- Order information: what you bought, the price, and your order and delivery history.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our checkout and payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Device and browsing information: when you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser, device type, the pages you view and how you arrived at our site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.
- Social media: if you message or comment on our Facebook or Instagram pages, we see your public profile name and what you send us.
3. How we use it
- To process, ship and track your order, and to send order and shipping updates.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds, replacements and our 30-day money-back guarantee.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
- To understand how people use our site and improve it.
- To send you marketing emails and text messages, only if you agreed to receive them (see "Email and text messages" below).
- To comply with the law, including tax and accounting rules.
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what they need:
- our e-commerce platform (Shopify), which hosts our store and checkout;
- payment processors, to take your payment;
- our third-party supplier, fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, to pack and deliver your order;
- analytics and advertising partners (such as Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram), to measure and improve our site and ads;
- our email and text message providers (Shopify Email and Shopify Messaging), only to send the messages you agreed to receive;
- authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our customers.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Email and text messages
Email. We send marketing emails only if you sign up for them (for example, by ticking the box at checkout or using a sign-up form). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. If you unsubscribe, we stop within 10 business days. We still send emails you need about your orders, such as confirmations, shipping updates and refunds.
Text messages (SMS). If you sign up for texts, we collect your mobile number and your consent, and use them only to send the messages you signed up for: order updates, offers, holiday order-by reminders and cart reminders. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. We send texts only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in your local time.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This applies to every section of this policy, including the sharing listed above.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how our site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, may stop working.
7. How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it for your order, refunds and our legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (for example, for tax records);
- stop sending you marketing.
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell personal information, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Customers in the UK, the European Union and other regions with data protection laws have similar rights, and the right to complain to their local data protection authority. Because we're based in the United States, your information is processed in the US.
To use any of these rights, email clearlykittyhelp@outlook.com. We'll reply within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
9. Security
We use trusted, secure providers and limit who can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
10. Children
Our store is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the current one.
